On The Road Again

When people ask me how long have I been an artist I say I’ve always been an artist ! The question should be how long have you had time to be an artist. With all that has happened globally over the past year and a half, lockdowns, restrictions etc I have been forced to stay at home and this has given me the greatest opportunity to pursue my passion as an artist. I have never had any form of training or tuition, I’ve always been driven by a deep seated desire to express myself through painting, it’s a form of escapism for me. As much as I love my job as a travel professional I live for time at my easel creating art !

With the travel industry starting to open up again I will be travelling around Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales once more. The opportunity to explore gallerys, museums, the spectacular countryside as well as the great cities and towns that my journeys take me on will once again be open to me. I will be sharing my experiences with you of these journeys with a particular emphasis on art old and new.
